This knitting pattern is in English.

The Amélie Tee is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch and with stripes. The first part of the yoke is worked flat, back and forth, to shape the neckline. Then the work is joined in the round, so the rest of the yoke can be worked in the round and shaped with raglan increases on the circular needle. Along the neck stitches are picked up and knitted and a stockinette stitch edge is worked.

Size guide

The Amélie Tee is designed to have approx. 7 cm [2¾ inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 7 cm [2¾ inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm [29½-31½ (31½-33½) 33½-35½ (35½-37½) 37½-39½ (39½-43¼) 43¼-47¼ (47¼-51¼) 51¼-55 (55-59) inches]. The measurements for the finished tee can be found on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before beginning your project, to determine which size will fit you the best. For example, if you measure 90 cm [35½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size S. A size S tee has a bust circumference of 97 cm [38¼ inches] which in the given example would give you 7 cm [2¾ inches] of positive ease.

The Agnete Cardigan is worked from the top down in brioche stitch. First a section for the back of the neck is worked in double knitting, which will connect to the front edges, and form the integrated button bands. Next, stitches are picked up and knitted along the edge of this section, and the back yoke is worked from these. After this, the right and left front yoke are worked flat, separately. The three parts of the yoke are joined to form the body, which is worked flat, back and forth in brioche stitch while the front edges or button bands are continued to be worked simultaneously in double knitting. Buttonholes are worked along the double knitting front bands. Stitches are then picked up and knitted along the armholes and the sleeves are worked down from these in the round.

Begin by knitting a swatch before you start your project, to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge. Please be aware that the row gauge (i.e. how many rows there are height-wise in 10 cm [4 inches] in a column) can vary depending on the yarn you’re knitting with. The most important thing is to have the correct stitch gauge (i.e. how many stitches there are width-wise in 10 cm [4 inches]).

You can find videos of the brioche stitch and double knitting techniques at www.petiteknit.com.

Size guide

The Agnete Cardigan is designed to have approx. 10-15 cm [4-6 inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 10-15 cm [4-6 inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm [31½-33½ (33½-35½) 35½-37½ (37½-39½) 39½-43¼ (43¼-47¼) 47¼-51¼ (51¼-55) 55-59 inches]. The measurements for the finished cardigan can be found on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before beginning your project, to determine which size will fit you the best. For example, if you measure 90 cm [35½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size S. A size S sweater has a bust circumference of 105 cm [41¼ inches] which in the given example would give you 15 cm [5¾ inches] of positive ease.

The Caramel Sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases on the yoke. Size guide

The Caramel Sweater is designed to have approx. 10-15 cm [4-6 inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 10-15 cm [4-6 inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm [31½-33½ (33½-35½) 35½-37½ (37½-39½) 39½-43¼ (43¼-47¼) 47¼-51¼ inches].

The Celeste Sweater is worked from the top down and has a circular yoke. First the neck edge is worked, then the yoke is worked in the round in the charted colorwork pattern using 5 different colors. Short rows are worked after the stranded pattern has been completed to raise the back and create a nice fit. The body and sleeves are worked in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with a rib edge.

Please note that stranded knitting often needs to be worked on a needle 0.5-1 mm larger to maintain the same gauge as the stockinette stitch sections worked in one color. For this reason, you need to work a swatch in both the stranded colorwork pattern and in solid stockinette stitch before starting your sweater.

This pattern contains charts with the colors of the brown Celeste Sweater alongside blank charts that can be colored with your own chosen colors.

Size guide

The Celeste Sweater is designed to have approx. 15 cm [6 inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 15 cm [6 inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm [29½-31½ (31½-33½) 33½-35½ (35½-37½) 37½-39½ (39½-43¼) 43¼-47¼ (47¼-51¼) 51¼-55 (55-59) inches].

The measurements for the finished sweater are listed on the front page of the pattern. Begin by measuring yourself before starting your project, to determine which size will fit you the best. For example, if you measure 85 cm [33½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size XS. A size XS sweater has a bust circumference of 100 cm [39¼ inches] which in the given example would give you 15 cm [6 inches] of positive ease.

The Fortune Sweater is worked seamless from the top down with raglan increases on the yoke. The sleeves are three-quarter long. The sweater is worked in stockinette stitch with a clover eyelet pattern. First, the neck edge is worked in rib, then folded double and knitted together. Next, short rows are worked to shape the neckline. At the same time as the short rows and raglan increases are worked, the clover eyelet pattern is worked – take care to place the clover pattern correctly, so it is symmetrical and comes together correctly under the armholes. Read through the entire yoke section of the pattern before beginning to knit.

Size guide

The Fortune Sweater is designed to have approx. 15-25 cm [6-10 inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 15-25 cm [6-10 inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. Before deciding which size to knit, measure around the widest part of your bust using a measuring tape. Add 15-25 cm [6-10 inches] to this measurement (depending on how loosely or tightly you prefer your Fortune Sweater to fit), and then select the size that comes closest to this number. Example: You measure yourself to be 95 cm [37½ inches] around the bust. Adding 15-25 cm [6-10 inches] to this number gives you 110-120 cm [43½-47½ inches] (95 cm [37½ inches] chest circumference + 15-25 cm [6-10 inches] positive ease = 110-120 cm [43½-47½ inches]). Size M with a bust circumference of 114 cm [45 inches] fits right in the middle of this interval.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL

Bust circumference: 95 (105) 114 (124) 133 (143) 152 cm [37½ (41¼) 45 (48¾) 52½ (56¼) 59¾ inches]

Length: 53 (55) 58 (60) 61 (65) 69 cm (measured mid back including folded neck edge) [21 (21¾) 22¾ (23½) 24 (25½) 27¼ inches]

Gauge: 21 sts x 28 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] with 2 strand of silk mohair on 4 mm [US6] needles, after blocking

Needles: Circular needles: 3 mm [US2½] / 40 cm [16 inches] and 80 or 100 cm [32 or 40 inches] and 4 mm [US6] / 40 cm [16 inches], 60 cm [24 inches] and 80 or 100 cm [32 or 40 inches]; Double-pointed needles: 3 mm [US2½] and 4 mm [US6]

The Ingrid Sweater Man is worked from the top down in a knit and purl texture pattern. First, the back yoke is worked back and forth and the sloping shoulders are shaped using short rows. Then stitches are picked up and knitted for the shoulder sections, which are worked separately and then joined to form the front yoke. The front and back yoke are joined at the underarms to form the body, which is worked straight down in the round. The sleeves are knitted in the round from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the armholes. A rib neck edge is worked, folded double and knitted together. The Ingrid Sweater Man is worked in a texture pattern, which consists of three different pattern sections.

Begin by knitting a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge before starting the project – note that the gauge needs to be correct both in width and height, for you to be able to achieve the measurements given at the top of the pattern.

Size guide

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm [33¾-35¾ (35¾-37¾) 37¾-39¾ (39¾-42¼) 42¼-44½ (44½-46¾) 46¾-48¾ (48¾-52) 52-56¾ inches]. The measurements for the finished garment are on the front page of the pattern. Before beginning your project, measure yourself to determine which size to knit. For example, if you measures 103 cm [40½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size L. Dit is een Engels papieren patroon, en kan niet per Email worden verstuurd.

The Maggie Cardigan is worked from the top down. First, the back yoke is worked flat, back and forth, shaped with increases. Then each shoulder is worked separately, from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the top of the back yoke. Stitches are then picked up and knitted along the shoulders, and the rest of the yoke and the body is worked back and forth on the circular needle. The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or on a long circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. At the end, plackets are worked along the front edges and along the neck.

Begin by working a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge. Wash and block the swatch before taking any measurements.

Size guide

The Maggie Cardigan is designed to have approx. 5 cm [2 inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 5 cm [2 inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm [29½-31½ (31½-33½) 33½-35½ (35½-37½) 37½-39½ (39½-43¼) 43¼-47¼ (47¼-51¼) 51¼-55 (55-59) inches]. The measurements for the finished sweater can be found on the front page of the pattern. Please note that these measurements can only be achieved if the correct gauge is maintained throughout. Measure yourself before beginning your project, to determine which size will fit you the best. For example, if you measure 90 cm [35½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size S. A size S sweater has a bust circumference of 96 cm [37¾ inches] which in the given example would give you 6 cm [2¼ inches] of positive ease.

Sizes: XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL)

Bust circumference: 89 (91) 96 (101) 106 (115) 125 (136) 143 (153) cm [35 (35¾) 37¾ (39¾) 41¾ (45¼) 49¼ (53½) 56¼ (60¼) inches]

Gauge: 23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm [US4] needles

Needles: Circular needles: 3.5 mm [US4] / 60, 80 and/or 100 cm [24, 32 and/or 40 inches] and 3 mm [US2½] / 60, 80 and/or 100 cm [24, 32 and/or 40 inches]; Double-pointed needles: 3.5 mm [US4] and 3 mm [US2½] (unless the Magic Loop technique is used)

Maten: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL

Borstomvang: 100 (105) 110 (116) 122 (128) 133 (141) 153 cm

Lengte: 68 (70) 71 (72) 74 (75) 77 (78) 79 cm (midden achter gemeten)

The Novice Sweater – Mohair Edition is worked from the top down. You will start by knitting the neck ribbing, then the yoke, then the body of the sweater and finally the sleeves. The sweater is worked in stockinette stitch with edges in rib stitch.

The Novice Sweater – Mohair Edition has a circular yoke. The yoke is shaped with a total of 4 rounds of increases that are evenly distributed along the length of the yoke.

Size guide and measurements

Please note that knitting with the correct gauge is essential to end up with a garment that has the measurements given in the pattern.

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL are designed to fit an approximate bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm [31½-33½ (33½-35½) 35½-37½ (37½-39½) 39½-43¼ (43¼-47¼) 47¼-51¼ inches]. The Novice Sweater – Mohair Edition is designed to have approx. 6-12 cm [2¼-4¾ inches] of positive ease. This means that if you for example measure 94 cm [37 inches] around your bust (measure yourself around your bust, or the widest point of your torso, using a measuring tape), you should knit a size M which has a finished circumference of 102 cm [40¼ inches].

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL

Bust circumference:  92 (96) 102 (108) 116 (126) 136 cm [36¼ (37¾) 40¼ (42½) 45¾ (49½) 53½ inches]

Length: 52 (54) 56 (58) 59 (60) 61 cm [20½ (21¼) 22 (22¾) 23¼ (23½) 24 inches] measured mid back

Gauge: 21 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in stockinette stitch on 4 mm [US6] needles with 2 strands of silk mohair held together, after blocking

Needles: Circular needles: 3 mm [US2½] / 40 and 80 cm [16 and 32 inches], 4 mm [US6] / 40, 60 and 80 cm [16, 24 and 32 inches] needles; Double-pointed needles: 3 mm [US2½] needles

Yarn: 175 (175-200) 200 (225) 225 (275) 325 g Silk Mohair by Isager Yarn (25 g = 212 m [232 yds]) or Brushed Lace by Mohair By Canard (25 g = 210 m [230 yds]). Note: Two strands of yarn are held together throughout the pattern. The given yardage amounts are the total yardage required. If you want long sleeves on your sweater, please add 25 g of yarn for each size.

The October Sweater is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch. The first section of the yoke is worked back and forth (flat) to shape the neckline, then the work is joined in the round and the rest of the yoke is worked in the round on circular needles and shaped with raglan increases. The sleeves and body are finished with a wide 2 x 2 rib edge. The rib edge at the neckline is worked from picked-up stitches at the end and folded double.

The October Sweater has an oversize fit – knit a size smaller than recommended if you would like a less oversize sweater.

Size guide

The October Sweater is designed to have approx. 30 cm [11¼ inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 30 cm [11¼ inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The fit is oversize. If you would like a sweater with a less oversize fit, knit a smaller size. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm [29½-31½ (31½-33½) 33½-35½ (35½-37½) 37½-39½ (39½-43¼) 43¼-47¼ (47¼-51¼) 51¼-55 (55-59) inches]. The measurements for the finished garment are on the front page of the pattern. Before beginning your project, measure yourself to determine which size to knit. For example, if you measure 90 cm [35½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size S. Alle patronen van PetiteKnit die wij verkopen, zijn papieren patronen in het engels.

The Olga Sweater is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch with stripes. First, the back yoke is worked back and forth with the slope of the shoulders being shaped using short rows and in stripes, which are worked at the same time. Each shoulder is then worked back and forth on a circular needle, and then the shoulders are joined to form the front yoke. The front and back yoke are joined at the underarms to form the body, which is worked in the round on a circular needle with stripes. The sleeves are worked down from stitches that are picked up and knitted around the armholes. At the end, a folded neck edge is worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the neckline.

Size guide

The Olga Sweater is designed to have approx. 23 cm [9 inches] of positive ease in the smaller sizes and then gradually less positive ease in the larger sizes. Please note that these measurements are only achieved if the correct gauge is maintained throughout. Measure yourself before starting your project, to determine which size will fit you the best. For example, if you measure 95 cm [37½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size M. A size M sweater has a bust circumference of 118 cm [46½ inches] which in the given example would give you 23 cm [9 inches] of positive ease.

Sizes: XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL)

Chest circumference: 103 (108) 114 (118) 123 (131) 141 (149) 157 (165) cm [40½ (42½) 45 (46½) 48½ (51½) 55½ (58¾) 61¾ (65) inches]

The Poppy Tee is worked from the top down. First the top part of the back yoke is worked with increases, then the shoulders are worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the slanting sides at the back yoke. Stitches are then picked up and knitted along the sides of the shoulders and the rest of the yoke is worked together on the circular needle, first back and forth and then in the round. The body is worked in the round on a circular needle, and the sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or on a circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. At the end a folded neck edge with built in double knitting is worked.

Begin by working a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge. Wash and block the swatch before taking any measurements. Be aware that if you are knitting in the recommended yarn, the knitted fabric can grow when washed – this is the reason it is important that you wash your swatch before measuring your gauge.

Size guide

The Poppy Tee is designed to have approx. 5 cm [2 inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 5 cm [2 inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm [31½-33½ (33½-35½) 35½-37½ (37½-39½) 39½-43¼ (43¼-47¼) 47¼-51¼ (51¼-55) 55-59 inches]. The measurements for the finished garment are given on the first page of the pattern. Please note that these measurements are only achieved if the correct gauge is obtained.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL

Bust circumference: 90 (96) 101 (106) 115 (125) 136 (146) 155 cm [35½ (37¾) 39¾ (41¾) 45¼ (49¼) 53½ (57½) 61 inches]

Gauge: 23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm [US4] needles

Needles: Circular needles: 3.5 mm [US4] / 60, 80 and/or 100 cm [24, 32 and/or 40 inches] and 3 mm [US2½] / 40, 80 and/or 100 cm [16, 32 and/or 40 inches]; Double-pointed needles: 3.5 mm [US4] and 3 mm [US2½] (unless you use the Magic Loop technique)

The Rigmor Tee is worked in the round on a circular needle from the bottom up with raglan decreases to shape the yoke. The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles (or on a long circular needle using the Magic Loop technique). Stitches are bound off for the neck opening and at the end stitches are picked up and knitted for the neck ribbed edge. The Rigmor Tee has a feminine and simple lace pattern on both body and sleeves. The chart for the lace pattern can be found at the end of the pattern.

Size guide and measurements

Note that the measurements given in the pattern (corresponding to the finished dimensions of the tee) are only valid if the design is worked in the correct gauge.

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm [31½-33½ (33½-35½) 35½-37½ (37½-39½) 39½-43¼ (43¼-47¼) 47¼-51¼ (51¼-55) 55-59 inches]. The Rigmor Tee is designed to have approx. 7-10 cm [2¾-4 inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 7-10 cm [2¾-4 inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. This means that if you for example measure 90 cm [35½ inches] around your bust (measure yourself with a measuring tape around your bust or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit a size S. A size S tee has a bust circumference of 100 cm [39½ inches] which in the given example will give you 10 cm [4 inches] of positive ease.

The model in the photos has a bust circumference of 82 cm [32¼] and is 164 cm [approx. 5 feet 4 inches] tall and is wearing a size XS Rigmor Tee.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL

Bust circumference: 91 (100) 100 (109) 118 (127) 136 (145) 155 cm [35¾ (39¼) 39¼ (43) 46½ (50) 53½ (57) 61 inches]

PetiteKnit - September Sweater

Maten: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL

Borstomvang: 98 (103) 107 (113) 120 (133) 140 (150) 160 cm

Lengte: 56 (58) 60 (64) 70 (72) 75 (77) 77 cm (midden achter gemeten incl. gevouwen boord)

Naalden zonder knop: 4.5 mm

Materialen: Suggestie 1: 550 (600) 650 (700) 750 (850) 900 (950) 1000 g Peer Gynt van Sandnes Garn (50 g = 91 m) (enkele draad) samen te breien met 100-125 (125) 125 (150) 150 (175) 175 (200) 200 g Tynn Silk Mohair van Sandnes Garn (25 g = 212 m) (enkele draad) of Brushed Lace van Mohair by Canard (25 g = 212 m) of Silk Mohair van Isager Yarn (25 g = 212 m)

The Stockholm Slipover V-neck has a V-shaped neckline and is worked from the top down. First, the back part of the yoke is worked, then the front shoulders and finally the body. The Stockholm Slipover V-neck has slanting shoulders that create a good fit and which are shaped using short rows. Rib edges are worked along the V-neck edge and armhole edges, and the edges are finished with an Italian bind-off.

Begin by working a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge – it is important for the shoulder width of the design that the correct gauge is achieved.

Maten: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL

Borstomvang: 101 (105) 110 (116) 126 (135) 145 (156) 166 cm

Lengte: Midden achter gemeten, incl. halsboord: 54 (56) 58 (62) 65 (68) 72 (73) 75 cm

PetiteKnit - Terrazzo Slipover

Terrazzo Slipover is worked from the top down. First the back section of the yoke is worked, then the shoulders, which are joined to form the front section of the yoke. The back and front and joined at the bottom of the armholes to form the body, which is worked in the round to the hem, which has a slit at each side. At the end rib armhole edges are worked, as well a turtleneck from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the neck opening. The rib edges are worked as twisted rib, to create a very defined rib pattern.

Begin by working a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge. Wash and block the swatch before taking any measurements. Be aware that if you are knitting in the recommended yarn, the knitted fabric will grow slightly when washed – this is the reason it is important that you wash your swatch before measuring your gauge.

Size guide

Terrazzo Slipover is designed to have approx. 13 cm [5 inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 13 cm [5 inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm [31½-33½ (33½-35½) 35½-37½ (37½-39½) 39½-43¼ (43¼-47¼) 47¼-51¼ (51¼-55) 55-59 inches].

The measurements for the finished garment are on the front page of the pattern. Note that these measurements are only achieved if the design is knitted in the correct gauge. Before beginning your project, measure yourself to determine which size will fit you the best. For example, if you measure 90 cm [35½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part on your upper body) you should knit a size S. A size S slipover has a bust circumference of 104 cm [41 inches] which in the given example would give you 14 cm [5½ inches] of positive ease.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL

Gauge: 17 sts x 27 rows in stockinette stitch on 4 mm [US6] needles = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] after wash and blocking (Note that the recommended yarn grown when washed, making it very important that you wash and block your swatch before measuring for gauge)

22 sts x 24 rows in twisted rib (k1 tbl, p1 tbl) on 4 mm [US6] needles = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] after wash and blocking (gauge for turtleneck collar)

The Terrazzo Sweater is worked from the top down. First the yoke is worked flat (back and forth) on the circular needles, while the neckline is being shaped, then the work is joined to be knitted in the round. The yoke is constructed with shoulder increases on both right side and wrong side rows on the first section. On the next section, increases are worked on the sleeves only, and on the final section classic raglan increases are worked on both body and sleeves. The turtleneck consists of a ribbed collar worked at the end, from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the neck edge. It is worked in twisted rib. The sleeves are worked in the round either on double-pointed needles or on a long circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. Begin by working a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge.

Zipper Sweater Light - Man

The Zipper Sweater Light – Man is worked from the top down. The collar is worked in rib, then folded double and knitted together. The yoke is worked with raglan increases, first back and forth on circular needles to create the slit for the zipper, then in the round on the circular needles. The body and the sleeves are worked in the round. Finally, a facing for the zipper is worked from resting stitches, so the zipper, after being sewn in, also looks presentable from the WS. The zipper is sewn in between the two layers of knitting – either by hand or on a sewing machine.

Begin by working a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge.

Size guide

The Zipper Sweater Light - Man is designed to have approx. 20 cm [7¾ inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 20 cm [7¾ inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) cm [33¾-35¾ (35¾-37¾) 37¾-39¾ (39¾-42¼) 42¼-44½ (44½-46¾) 46¾-48¾ (48¾-52) inches].

The measurements for the finished garment are on the front page of the pattern. Before beginning your project, measure yourself to determine which size to knit. For example, if you measures 103 cm [40½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size L. A size L sweater has a bust circumference of 127 cm [50 inches] which in the given example would give you 24 cm [9½ inches] of positive ease.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL)

Bust circumference: 111 (117) 121 (127) 133 (139) 145 (153) cm [43¾ (46) 47¾ (50) 52½ (54¾) 57 (60¼) inches]
