Baggy Hat is a simple hat with a baggy fit in the back and with a rolling edge at the bottom. The hat is worked in the round, from the bottom up, the crown is shaped by decreases, and it is finished on double pointed needles. The hat will widen with wear (if you knit it with the suggested yarn) to a gauge of approx. 17-18 sts in 10 cm/4 inches - this has been taken into consideration in the pattern. You can vary the length to get the look you want. The top with the decreases measures 5-6 cm.

Measure your head circumference to find the right size for you. The smallest size is meant for children, while the two larger sizes are adult sizes. 

Make a gauge swatch to make sure you obtain the right gauge before you start.

After this the balaclava is worked straight down and then joined in the round below the chin. The neck is worked in the round in stockinette stitch before it is finished with a rib edge. At the end a rib edge is worked along the face opening.

The Celeste Sweater is worked from the top down and has a circular yoke. First the neck edge is worked, then the yoke is worked in the round in the charted colorwork pattern using 5 different colors. Short rows are worked after the stranded pattern has been completed to raise the back and create a nice fit. The body and sleeves are worked in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with a rib edge.

Please note that stranded knitting often needs to be worked on a needle 0.5-1 mm larger to maintain the same gauge as the stockinette stitch sections worked in one color. For this reason, you need to work a swatch in both the stranded colorwork pattern and in solid stockinette stitch before starting your sweater.

The Cleo Baby Set consists of a hat, a cardigan, and a pair of pants.

The cardigan is worked from the top down with raglan increases. The cardigan has rolling edges in stockinette stitch. The stockinette stitch front plackets are worked at the end as well as a stockinette stitch neck edge.

The hat is worked from the top down on double-pointed needles. Earflaps are worked, and then a rolling edge is worked along the bind-off edge. At the end, ties are worked on each side.

The Fortune Sweater is worked seamless from the top down with raglan increases on the yoke. The sleeves are three-quarter long. The sweater is worked in stockinette stitch with a clover eyelet pattern. First, the neck edge is worked in rib, then folded double and knitted together. Next, short rows are worked to shape the neckline. At the same time as the short rows and raglan increases are worked, the clover eyelet pattern is worked – take care to place the clover pattern correctly, so it is symmetrical and comes together correctly under the armholes. Read through the entire yoke section of the pattern before beginning to knit.

The Rigmor Tee is worked in the round on a circular needle from the bottom up with raglan decreases to shape the yoke. The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles (or on a long circular needle using the Magic Loop technique). Stitches are bound off for the neck opening and at the end stitches are picked up and knitted for the neck ribbed edge. The Rigmor Tee has a feminine and simple lace pattern on both body and sleeves. The September Hat is worked in the round from the bottom up on a circular needle in brioche stitch. The stitches are cast on using the Italian cast-on technique to create a nice and neat edge. The top of the hat is shaped with decreases.

Please note that working brioche stitch in the round on a circular needle means that the brioche stitches are knitted on every other round and purled on every other round.

De September Sweater wordt van boven naar beneden gebreid in brioche steek. Eerst wordt de achterkant van de pas van boven naar beneden en in heen en weer gaande toeren gebreid met meerderingen aan beide kanten van het werk. Daarna worden steken opgenomen aan de zijkanten voor de schouders. Deze worden apart gebreid en daarna in het rond verbonden om de voorkant te vormen. De voor- en achterkant worden verbonden vanaf de onderkant van de armsgaten. Het lijf wordt van daar in het rond gebreid tot helemaal onderaan. Daarna worden steken opgenomen en gebreid langs de armsgaten voor de mouwen, deze worden in het rond gebreid op een korte rondbreinaald en gevormd met minderingen. Uiteindelijk worden steken opgenomen en gebreid langs de halslijn om een boord te maken. De boord wordt dubbelgevouwen en aan de binnenkant van de sweater vastgenaaid. De September Sweater heeft bijna geen afwerking nodig behalve het vastnaaien van de boord.

Brei een proeflapje voordat je aan je project begint om te controleren of de aanbevolen naalddikte de juiste stekenverhouding geeft. Let op bij het meten van de stekenverhouding dat een brioche steek lastig te meten is omdat het zo rekbaar is - meet meerdere keren.

The Sophie Hood is worked in one piece from tip to tip. It is worked flat, back and forth, in garter stitch with built-in i-cord edges. The hood is shaped using increases and decreases, and it’s back is sewn together at the end, using mattress stitch along the back of the neck.

The Zipper Sweater Light – Man is worked from the top down. The collar is worked in rib, then folded double and knitted together. The yoke is worked with raglan increases, first back and forth on circular needles to create the slit for the zipper, then in the round on the circular needles. The body and the sleeves are worked in the round. Finally, a facing for the zipper is worked from resting stitches, so the zipper, after being sewn in, also looks presentable from the WS. The zipper is sewn in between the two layers of knitting – either by hand or on a sewing machine.

Begin by working a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge.

The Zipper Sweater Light - Man is designed to have approx. 20 cm [7¾ inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 20 cm [7¾ inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) cm [33¾-35¾ (35¾-37¾) 37¾-39¾ (39¾-42¼) 42¼-44½ (44½-46¾) 46¾-48¾ (48¾-52) inches]. 

The measurements for the finished garment are on the front page of the pattern. Before beginning your project, measure yourself to determine which size to knit. For example, if you measures 103 cm [40½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size L. A size L sweater has a bust circumference of 127 cm [50 inches] which in the given example would give you 24 cm [9½ inches] of positive ease.
