Classic Smock Cardigan is knitted from the bottom up. At the top, reverse rows are knitted to form the neckline. The body is knitted back and forth, while the sleeves are knitted in the round on double pointed needles or with the magic loop technique. Finally, sts are picked up along the front edges and button bands are knitted.
